I had the pleasure of studying photography with Stephen at Edinburgh college where we became great friends. I thoroughly believe that I would never have made it through that course without the support and encouragement Stephen constantly gave me. I've never met a man like Stephen and probably never will again. His energy, knowledge and generosity impacted many peoples lives. I'm just gutted I never got to say goodbye and thank him for everything. You will be missed Stephen Dunn, see you on the other side!

I only had the pleasure of knowing Stephen for 7 or so years. In that time he became a friend and mentor as well as a colleague at HHT. His generosity was unrivalled not always financially but also with his time. A true Hibernian legend and I only hope over time people appreciate how much he contributed to our Club not only at director level but also what he has done for HHT and the legacy that he leaves for future generations. A one of a kind. A true gentleman in every sense of the word. A character. A hard nosed business man who worked his way to the top but never forgot his roots. A real people person who took a genuine interest in others. You were a giant amongst men and will be sorely missed.

Stephen is one of the most genuine, humble and caring individuals I’ve ever met. He was my first interview at the club and became a great friend and mentor throughout my time at Hibernian and beyond. I’ll never forget our many chats and steak lunches. He has done so much for Hibernian and I don’t think many will realise just how much. A truly amazing gent and one of the best. Will miss you dearly Stephen.

Everyone who knew Stephen knew his passion for Hibs and for preserving the history of the club He has most likely done more for the club than any other Director. Stephen and I met when I worked at Hibs and he became a friend and mentor. I remember our chats with Eddie Turnbull, celebrating Stephen’s 50th and celebrating the Scottish Cup with Stephen and Lauren at Corn Exchange. Your kindness ,humour and passion for Hibs will not be forgotten. RIP my friend.

Stephen was an extraordinary man who I feel very privileged to have known. I learned so much from him in my time on the board and away from it. He was always generous with his time. I won't ever forget his laugh which was infectious. You will be missed Stephen. Rest in peace.

Stephen was a true gentleman who always put others ahead of himself. He always had an encouraging word when needed and could always see potential where others maybe didn’t. I’ll never forget how he helped us to finally turn HibsTV into what those of us who started it had envisaged some 20 years earlier. Just one of many ventures that he willingly gave his time, knowledge and experience to over the years. RIP Stephen, you were one of the best.

Such sad news. He was a huge source of advice to me while I was at the club which I will always be grateful for. He was a critical friend, was great fun to be around and was a fountain of knowledge and wisdom. I learned so much from being around Stephen - about Hibs, about managing people, about dealing with the board, about writing, about backing talent, about making difficult decisions and about lots of little things that he’d notice and would take the time to mention to you. Rest in peace Stephen and love to Lauren and the family.

Stephen you achieved so much in your life. Ill be forever grateful to you for giving me my best friend Lauren. Thank you for the many memories over the years. A truly incredible person. Rest easy Stephen.

Stephen was someone who gave everything without asking for anything in return. He supported me on various projects throughout my time working with Hibernian Community Foundation and that support continued when I transitioned into the club. A very kind, caring, humble and generous person who will be very dearly missed. Thank you for the life lessons you indirectly taught not only me but every single person that had the pleasure of meeting you.

I will never forget Stephen. A gentleman to the core whose generosity was second to none. It was a privilege to have known him and to call a friend . He did so much for me I will never forget . Rest in peace Stephen with the Angels High Above .
